Get Rocked! Featuring original HUSH members, Les Gock and Rick Lum – they blazed a trail in the 70s of sold out tours, hits singles and albums plus countless Countdown appearances. Topping the charts constantly, HUSH was part of the sound track of the 70s in Australia. Mark Gable lead singer from OZ rock legends The Choirboys has similarly carved a significant career in Australian rock history with a swag of hits including classics ‘Run to Paradise’ Together they perform for the first time in Adelaide since the 2006 Countdown Spectacular, classic HUSH hits while telling the stories behind the songs. FROM HUSH !
The original lead guitarist from Hush joined us for a jam on 19th March 2016 at Coogee Diggers RSL.
In 2006 Hush reformed for the Countdown Spectacular Shows, which included a whole lot of other great Aussie rock legends. A DVD recording was released of the Rod Laver Arena concert in Melbourne in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 20,000 which had three sell out shows. Hush got a standing ovation at every single show across Australia. It is one of the most memorable enjoyable tours of my music career. The Get Rocked band pays tribute to Hush by including some of their hits. Rick Lum
